Be more productive in your day

Welcome to this weeks vlog about carving out some extra time in your day.
As a busy mum of two pre-school aged boys, and business owner, like all busy working mums, 24 hours in a day often just doesn’t feel like it’s enough! My days literally leave no room for procrastination.
However, if I step back and really think about it, 24 hours is enough really… Because it’s not actually the amount of time you have, it’s how you use it which is often the issue. To get the most out of your 24 hours you need to use it effectively, and to do that you need to develop a mind-set which is laser focussed and uber productive.
So, what’s the best way you can do this? Well it’s all in the mind-set!
Part of your problem is that you’re probably stuck in your head distracted by all the external media and stimuli which surrounds you on a day to day basis, and let’s be honest these days it’s a hell of a lot and it’s really tough not to get sucked in to it.
Have you ever found yourself checking a message on your phone then mindlessly scrolling through Facebook and when you finally emerge for air and realise there’s an actual physical world surrounding you, you realise you’ve been in that virtual world watching what others are getting up to for so long you’ve completely forgotten what you were doing or what your next activity was on your list… sound familiar?
This really is just one very small example of how your 24 hours is slipping through your fingertips, however, don’t worry there is a solution. You can train your mind to be focussed in the present moment by drawing from your senses, coming into your body and out of your head, moving through your day with laser focus and uber productivity.
